Why you need a HUE Bridge?

The HUE Bridge enables you to control all of your Philips HUE products via the Philips HUE App.

All Philips Hue Bluetooth smart light will work with your Hue Bridge and can be seamlessly integrated into your Hue Ecosystem.

For new HUE owners: Simply add on the Hue Bridge (sold separately) for the full Hue smart experience -

Expand your Hue system with a Philips Hue Outdoor Motion Sensor and bring light to places whenever there is movement.

Or set your lights to welcome you home using the Hue app to switch on all your lights, or let geolocation do it for you, all without touching a button.

Without the Hue Bridge, you won’t be able to use Hue accessories such as the remote, tap switch, or motion sensor. Features like “Home & Away” and “Sync with music, movies, and games” will also not be available.
